This iPhone case combines a smartphone that represents the cutting edge of the times with traditional Kazarikanagu(decorative metal fittings) that have continued uninterruptedly since the Asuka period. The high decorative quality of Kazarikanagu is utilized to decorate the iPhone in an elegant and bold way.
The design has a sense of dignity, elegance, and gentleness, which attracts people's attention and allows you to fully display your individuality.
The iPhone case patterns are four traditional patterns commonly used in Kazarikanagu- "karakusa" (arabesque), "shippou", "ichimatsu" (checkerboard), and "mokume" (wood grain).
These patterns have long been used in Kazarikanagu and are considered classic and elegant designs.
Each pattern is available in one of three finishes: gold (plated), silver (plated), or black (sulfur oxide). In total, there are 12 variations to choose from.
What is sulfurization treatment?
Sulfurization is a traditional technique in which copper is immersed in a special liquid and chemically altered to turn it black. The result is not as uniform as a simple black coating, and there may be slight individual variations in color. We hope you will enjoy this variation as a unique characteristic of our craftsmanship.

As the name suggests, it is a pattern carved like wood grain on metal. This is a pattern often carved into shrine boat-shaped locks.

The Background of the Kazarino iPhone case
For several years, we had received requests from customers to attach Kazarikanagu to their smartphones. Even in modern times where simplicity is often preferred, there are customers who desire decorative elements. I myself had been convinced that a smartphone case with Kazarikanagu would be incredibly cool, and had strongly desired to use one myself.
However, covering the entire case with Kazarikanagu posed difficulties in terms of both production and usability. Thus, we chose to use a hard case made of TPU material that has both flexibility and excellent shock resistance, and combined it with Kazarikanagu to create the Kazarino iPhone case. We focused on creating a design that, despite its decorative elements that contradict simplicity, exudes a subtle charm.
